We welcomed our second child, a sweet little girl, on Friday, May 2nd!
Hazel Grace made her entrance at 2:13 p.m. weighing 7 lbs. 5 oz. and 19 3/4 in. long.
We are overwhelmed with joy - she is an absolute angel.
We immediately looked to see if she resembled Emery, and she really did! She was smaller with daintier features, and she has lighter hair (and less of it). But there were times in the hospital where we felt like we were looking at newborn Emery.
She is looking less like Emery every day, so it will be interesting to see how much they end up resembling each other.
Big sister came to visit us in the hospital. She was a little scared of the hospital itself and unsure of the little creature she was there to see. The hospital provided us with a "sibling cake" though, and she really enjoyed that part!
After 2 days in the hospital, I was SO ready to get home. I missed Emery, and I was tired of being trapped!
I dressed little Hazel in the outfit I made her, and she just looked like a doll!
We are so happy to be home and are adjusting to our new life as a family of four!
