8 Weeks

Hazel is 8 weeks old today!

While I get an A+ for posting on time, I get an F for taking pictures this week!

All I've got is this shot of the video monitor while she's sleeping.  

I really wish we'd gotten a video monitor the first time around, but better late than never.  I love it!  It's great for the baby, but I've used it countless times to catch Emery sneaking out of bed at night!

7 weeks

Hazel is 7 weeks old today!  

Emery loves the pool, so we went last Saturday since Daddy was off.  It is definitely a two person job right now!

Hazel didn't get in the water, but she looked cute in her bathing suit!

She hung out with Daddy since he's not big on swimming. 

Sunday we went to church and got there early!  After church and naps, we headed to Grandma and Grandpa's house to celebrate Father's Day. 

One of my favorite things about having babies with lots of hair is playing with it and making funny hairstyles!

Bath time is starting to get a bit better.  She still doesn't love it, but she doesn't scream bloody murder the whole time!

Daytime sleep is still a struggle.  In moments like this, I have to snap a picture and run to get something done before those eyes pop open again! 

As always, I have to share some cute sister photos.  This one didn't turn out great, but I still love it because you can tell how much Emery adores her sister. 

They are the cutest, and I could take a million pictures of them.

We got to visit the splash pad this week with some friends, and Emery had a blast!  We will surely be back soon. 

I'm proud of myself for posting on time this week!  Have a great weekend!

6 weeks

So I guess I need to just come to terms with the fact that with two kids, these posts will be late!

Hazel was 6 weeks old last Friday!

I know I post a ton of similar pictures of the two girls together, but I can't get enough of these sweet moments!

Hazel is growing, but she's still such a cute, petite little thing.

I'm sure it was a total fluke, but she rolled over last week at just 5 weeks 2 days old!

Grandma Jean came to visit, and I got to get out of the house for a wonderful massage!

We had to get out of the house one morning while our new playroom carpet was being installed, so we headed to the park and then to the mall.  The only problem was the mall wasn't open yet.  Oh well, we ate breakfast, walked with the mall walkers, and posed for pictures by the fountain.

5 Weeks

I'm late again, but better late than never!  Hazel was 5 weeks old last Friday!

Hazel and I both had doctors appointments last week.  Hers went fine, but she pooped FOUR times during mine, so it was a little chaotic!

I took my big girl for a treat since she sat through both appointments.

School's out for summer!!! Emery's school had a PreK water day to celebrate, and the kids all had a blast!

Hopefully my next post won't be so late!

Hazel - One Month

Sweet Hazel is 1 month old!

I love the chalkboard trend, so I decided that would be my "thing" for Hazel's monthly updates.

4 weeks

I'm super late, but Hazel was 4 weeks old last Friday!

She loves her Daddy and falls asleep easily when close to him. 

She likes to trick Mommy though.  The progression below is:

1.  Fighting sleep

2.  Ah...she's sleeping.  Finally 

3.  Ha ha...gotcha!  Not really asleep.
