12 Weeks

Hazel was 12 weeks old last Friday!

Our good friend Vincent turned 2, so we celebrated with him at the splash pad!

Emery is a big fan of the splash pad AND cake!

The birthday boy and brother JP came over for a fun (and hot and messy) backyard play date a few days later.

Hazel is tiny size-wise, but she is still getting big too fast as far as I'm concerned!

Most mornings, I bring the girls into my room and we watch the news while I feed Hazel.  I love these lazy morning snuggles.  They will be gone soon because Emery is about to start school, and we will be rushing around every morning!

I am so thankful for this sweet little face.  She is such a sweet baby and just the perfect addition to our family!

Hazel's First Roadtrip

A couple of weeks ago, we loaded up and headed to see Grandma and Grandpa in San Marcos!

I was a little nervous about the drive because Hazel is not a huge fan of the carseat, but it went pretty well.  We had a fantastic weekend and took a lot of pictures!

The first night, we went to dinner at Hays County BBQ.  I highly recommend it to anyone in the area, especially if you have kids because they have a play area!

We all liked the food a lot, and Emery was very happy playing outside.

They also had live music for the rest of us to enjoy!

The next morning, we headed down the street to my godparents' house to let Emery swim. She had a blast, of course.

After swimming, I headed to get my hair done!

Later in the evening, the adults enjoyed margaritas on the patio while Emery and Buddy the dog played.

Before we left on Sunday, we wanted to get some family pictures.

Last but not least, we drove home!  It was a great weekend packed with lots of fun!

11 Weeks

Hazel was 11 weeks old last Friday!
Yes I am a week late again.

The biggest happening last week was our trip to San Marcos, but I still want that to be a separate post.  In the meantime, here are a few cute pics of my girls.

This little cutie moved to her crib after we got back from San Marcos, and it was a very smooth transition.

Last but not least, we posed for a cute picture to wish Grandma Jean a happy birthday!

10 Weeks

I'm a week behind on posting...oops!
Hazel was 10 weeks old last Friday!

I couldn't choose between these two pictures,
so I just posted both.

Emery wanted to join in on the photo shoot.  Hazel gets kisses whether she wants them or not!

Every summer, our church does a series called "At the Movies."  It is awesome, and we really look forward to it.  Hazel got to enjoy the first installment all comfy cozy in the sling.

Then she got some quality time with Daddy.  We miss him during the week.

Summer in Texas calls for pool time!  It's much easier to set up the small one in the backyard, and Emery seems to enjoy it.

Hazel hangs out and watches!

Hazel is not a fan of tummy time, so we bought a special mat/pillow that seems to make it more bearable.

Cutest little bunny around!

Smiles for Daddy

Last weekend, we packed up and headed to Grandma and Grandpa's house.  We got lots of cute pictures, but that deserves it's own post!

Have a great weekend!

9 Weeks

Hazel was 9 weeks old yesterday!

I made up for last week's lack of pictures by taking
lots of cute ones this week.

Sister story time

Backyard pool fun

Hazel rested in the grass while Emery played.

When Emery was a baby, she loved the swing and would sleep hours in it.  Hazel, not so much.  But she does love the mobile!

Post-bath cuteness!

Smiley girl!

More fun with friends at the splash pad!

Last, but not least, 4th of July cuteness!

Trying to get a decent picture of two kids at the same time is a new challenge.  Here are some that didn't make the cut!

We decided to be brave and take the girls out to a community celebration and fireworks.

Thankfully we got a couple of pictures before things went downhill!

It started raining, and after awhile it was apparent that it wouldn't blow over, so we headed home.

Have a great rest of the weekend!
