13 Weeks

Hazel was 13 weeks old yesterday!  We have had a jam-packed, fun-filled week, so be prepared for LOTS of pictures!

On Sunday, I tried to get a cute picture of the girls in their coordinating church clothes.  I always take a million pictures so that I get at least one good (or decent) one.  Unfortunately I timed this poorly, and it was after church but before lunch.  The results speak for themselves!

Hazel is a really happy baby, as evidenced by this picture!

Tuesday marked the start of Daddy's vacation!  Grandma Jean came to visit, and many adventures were had.

First up, we headed to the St. Arnold's brewery for a tour and beer tasting.

That night, Grandma stayed home with the girls so we could go out.  We had dinner in Galveston and then went to the Pleasure Pier to enjoy the rides!

We specifically asked Grandma Jean to come so that she could stay home with Hazel one day.  Emery has been a trooper since Hazel was born, so we wanted to treat her to a special day just for her!

First up, donuts!

Next we went to Moody Gardens for the day.  We had such a good time and bought season passes, so we will be back soon for sure!

Our first stop was the aquarium pyramid which was awesome, but hard to photograph!

Then we watched the Rio 4D movie.  Fun!

Next stop was the Rainforest Pyramid.  It was very warm but beautiful, and we saw birds like the ones in the movie!

We saved the most exciting part for after lunch.  Emery loves swimming/splash pads, so we knew she'd love the Palm Beach water park.

We were right.  She had a blast!  Her favorite part was the water slide, and she rode it at least 15 times (some with us, and some by herself).

I grew up going to Schlitterbahn a lot, and we'd always get Dip N Dots, so I had to carry on the tradition!  It was a yummy way to end our day.

But the fun wasn't over for the week.  Thursday morning, we all loaded in the car and drove to Brenham.  We had lunch at a diner at the Brenham Municipal Airport.

Then we toured the Blue Bell factory!  YUM!

It was a great week, but we are worn out!
