Ok, so I've been horrible with my Monday Check In posts lately. I just can't seem to do them! But I have still been weighing in weekly, so I will get caught up today.
I haven't been exercising at all. Horrible, I know, but I was running outside, and I just can't make myself do it now that the heat and humidity are so high. I need to find something that I can do inside that is free!
Week 12 Stats (17 weeks PP)
Weight GAINED: +0.2 lbs.
Total Lost: 37.5 lbs.
Remaining Weight: 5.5 lbs.
Week 13 Stats (18 weeks PP)
Weight Lost: -0.9 lbs.
Total Lost: 38.4 lbs.
Remaining Weight: 4.6 lbs.
Week 14 Stats (19 weeks PP)
Weight Lost: -0.4 lbs.
Total Lost: 38.8 lbs.
Remaining Weight: 4.2 lbs.
Other than not stuffing myself with tons of fatty foods, I'm kind of just letting the weight come off naturally at this point. The number on the scale doesn't really bother me because if I lose 1 more pound, I'll weigh what I weighed on my wedding day. I feel like it's a good, healthy weight for me. BUT, I would like to tone everything up a bit!

19 Weeks
We didn't do a whole lot this week, so I didn't take as many pictures as I usually do.
E continues to love her time in the Jumperoo. She usually ignores the hanging frog and bird, but this week, she noticed them and batted at them constantly.
I have so many pictures of her sleeping, but she's just so darn cute.
On Thursday, we dressed up to go visit Grandma K.
But mostly we just relaxed this week.
Rice cereal has been quite a hit for the last week and a half, so I decided to start oatmeal today. E liked it just as much as rice cereal. It's really funny to watch her eat because she is excited about every bite. I'm really looking forward to fruits and veggies, but I think I'll wait on those until she's closer to 5 months.
We've really upped the amount of tummy time we do each day since E has a bit of a flat spot on the back of her head. This week she started trying to escape. She can't figure it out, but it's pretty funny to watch.
I am so not ready for her to be mobile!

Happy Father's Day!
While I wish we could have celebrated Father's Day with my dad, I was really excited to be celebrating Abraham's first official Father's Day!
Emery is a lucky little girl because she has a wonderful daddy, so we wanted to show him how much we appreciate every thing he does for us. We (ok I) decorated the living room last night after Abraham went to bed and then woke him up with breakfast this morning.
We left him treats like beef jerky and candy.
And some special sodas!
I put together this frame for Abraham to put on his desk at work. He hadn't seen the picture on the right before, and in the middle is a poem called "Walk With Me Daddy" with Emery's footprints behind it.
I spent the morning cooking so we could go celebrate with Grandpa K. We were having burgers, so I made 7 layer dip, deviled eggs, baked beans and cupcakes. There was sooo much food, but it pretty much all got eaten!
Delilah entertained us all by sending Grandpa K on a scavenger hunt to find his gift!
What a great day! I hope all of you had a wonderful Father's Day!!!
18 Weeks
What a big week! E turned 4 months old, which I blogged about here. She had her 4 month well child visit and shots, which I blogged about here. And she started eating solids, which I blogged about here. By the way, she is loving rice cereal!
The last 2 weeks have been rough in the sleep department, but that looks like it's turning around. Thank goodness because it was running me ragged. E is no longer swaddled at night and she is back to sleeping longer stretches, which makes for a happy momma!
In between all these big events, E and I also went swimming with Miss Lori and out to lunch with some lovely ladies and a younger man!
E wanted to make a good impression while also making it clear that she is high maintenance.
E made the first move, but baby Hayden wasn't so sure!
I love having the high chair in the kitchen now. E is content to sit in it and play while I cook or clean (or take her picture).
Last but not least, a cute picture of E with Aunt D.
I have lots of Father's Day pictures, so I decided to save them for a separate post.

Dinner for Three
Since we got the okay from the pediatrician to start solids, we went ahead and set up E's high chair in the kitchen. We've had her sitting with us in her bouncer during dinner for awhile, but it was nice having her higher up.
We were having Chicken Fettucine Alfredo, but E opted for rice cereal instead.
At first, she wasn't so sure about it...
But she ate some more...
And decided it wasn't so bad.
She ended up with a lot of it on her chin/bib, but I think she swallowed a pretty decent amount for her first time.
She finished up her meal with a nice bottle of formula.
And proceeded to pass out!
Success!
4 Month Stats
E's 4 month appointment went well today.
She weighed in at 14 lbs. 9 oz. (a little over 50th percentile) and was 26 inches long (90th percentile).
As expected, she did not appreciate all the shots, but once she calmed down, she was back to her happy self. Last time around, she had a bad reaction starting the next day, so I'm really praying for a better result this time.
We were also given the go ahead to try solids, so I'm excited to start a new chapter with Emery!

4 Months
Baby Girl is 4 months old today!
We go to the doctor on Wednesday for her 4 month appointment (and shots - boo), so I will update with stats then.

17 Weeks
Emery smiles all the time. I'm not sure why she's in such a good mood - she hasn't slept well at all this week. I believe we are going through the 4 month wakeful period. I really hope that's what's happening, at least, because that means it will end at some point.
Here's a look at what E did this week:
Played in the Jumperoo
We do this daily because E just loves it. She still doesn't jump by herself, but she gets so tickled when we make it bounce up and down. Down side to the Jumperoo - we had a poop issue the other day that Abraham compared to the grape stomping episode of I Love Lucy. It was not a pretty sight.
Drooled
E does a lot of this. It's kind of cute and kind of gross all at the same time.
Looked at her feet
She's obsessed with them. I was trying so hard to get her to look at the camera, but she was too busy.
Tummy Time
She seems to hate it a little less than she used to which is nice.
Looked cute
Ok so she always does that!
Saturday night, Grandma and Grandpa K watched E so we could go to Abraham's 10 year high school reunion.
It was kind of a bust, but oh well.
I will leave you with one last picture.
Confession: I sometimes mess with E's hair and make her look funny.
Confession: I sometimes mess with E's hair and make her look funny.
There, I said it. So I was doing that the other night and snapped this picture.
I think she looks like Chris Farley in this picture which is both hilarious and disturbing!
Hope everyone has a great week ahead!!!

Bloopers
So I'm not ashamed to say that so far, in her almost 4 months, I have taken over 1600 pictures of Emery.
It's not my fault - she just always looks cute, so I grab my camera.
If you've taken pictures of a baby before, you know that not all of them turn out like this:
The reason I take so many is that E hasn't learned to say "cheese" or sit still while I snap a photo. She also hasn't figured out that blinking should be reserved for after I take the picture and that the same goes for crying and sneezing. I've thought about posting some of the funny outtakes for awhile, but today I finally went through and picked out some funny ones.
So for your viewing pleasure (before E is old enough to resent this):
